Creative Hand-building & Tile Making

Tuesdays, Jan 14—March 18
10:00 AM-1:00 ~ PM  (10 wks) ~ $295

Enjoy pottery making “off the wheel” using various techniques for hand-forming, including slab, pinch,

coil and tile making.  Students will explore surface treatments using a variety of texturing tools, colored slips, and glaze decorating techniques.  Demonstrations and visual inspiration will be presented weekly.  Group discussion as well as individual feedback will be provided.  Bring your own ideas, or work along with the class with weekly projects.

Includes access to all Open Studio sessions (FREE).   All levels welcome.

Pottery: Open Studio

Saturdays & Tuesdays, Jan14-March 22
1:00-4:00 PM

$200 for a 10-visit pass for non-student
Free to students in the above classes

This monitored open studio is free to current students wanting more time in the studio to practice their craft.  Also offered to those who want to work independently on your own projects and need a workspace.  Clay must be purchased through ALAC.  Non-students must meet with studio manager prior to sign-up.
